Claims We Handle

Leak & Plumbing Damage Claims

Slow leaks cause fast-growing claims disputes.

A pinhole leak or slab leak can quietly saturate cabinets, flooring and drywall for weeks. When you finally file, the insurer may argue the damage was "long-term" and therefore excluded — turning a covered loss into a fight.

We know how policies treat sudden vs. gradual damage and how to document tear-out, leak detection and repair costs so your claim is paid the way it should be.

Frequently asked questions

The insurer calls my leak 'long-term seepage.' Is that final?

No. Seepage denials are an opinion about timing, and they can be challenged with plumbing forensics, moisture mapping and failure analysis of the broken component. Many leak claims denied as gradual are actually sudden failures that simply went undiscovered.

Is the cost of finding and reaching the leak covered?

In many policies, yes — tear-out and access costs to reach the failed pipe are covered even when the pipe itself isn't. This is one of the most commonly missed items in leak settlements, and it can be substantial with slab leaks.

What does it cost?

Nothing up front. We work on a contingency basis — we don't get paid unless you do. Your free evaluation carries no cost or obligation.

My claim was already denied or underpaid. Can you still help?

Yes. A large share of the claims we take on were previously denied or underpaid. We frequently reopen and re-document these claims to recover what was owed.
